(100% Enterprise Fund I) Rollie Katz, Public Employees' Union Local One, requested that the contract be approved for a six-month period to allow Labor to further review its costs and staffing practices. He noted that since that time, Contra Costa has received acclaim for the quality of its services in this area. He further noted that this contract locks in rates for three years at less than it would cost the county to hire individuals.
