HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07122011 - C.60RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #27-589-6 with Night Owl Pediatrics, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $800,000, to provide professional Urgent Care services for the Contra Costa Health Plan for the period from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan (Health Plan) member premiums. Costs depend upon utilization. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: The Health Plan has an obligation to provide certain specialized professional health care services for its members under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County. On August 4, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #27-589-5 with Night Owl Pediatrics, Inc., for the period from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2011 to provide professional Urgent Care services to Contra Costa Health Plan members.
