FISCAL IMPACT: $500,000; budgeted; no General Fund impact. These expenditures are covered by a combination of agency user fees, annual SLESF (Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Fund) allocation, and P-6 Zone revenue. The helicopter program is an integral element of effective law enforcement operations, providing enhanced patrol, surveillance, and search and rescue capabilities.
