HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07122011 - C.52RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Conservation and Development Diretor, or designee, to execute a contract extension with Goldfarb & Lipman, LLP, extending the term of this contract from June 30, 2011 to June 30, 2012, to provide continuing legal services related to the HOME, CDBG, HOPWA and NSP Programs, without change to the current payment limit of $250,000. FISCAL IMPACT: No General Fund impact. Contract is billed on a time and materials basis. Funds are from federal grant programs and have been budgeted to cover the costs through the specified time period. There are sufficient funds remaining to cover the services needed over the next year. Continuing legal services are required to draft legal documents related to these programs. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Specific program expertise would not be available.
