HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07122011 - C.39RECOMMENDATION(S): MODIFY the Board Order approved on June 7, 2011, (C.38) approving and authorizing the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract with the Contra Costa County Office of Education for the provision of mental health service to reflect the correct term of the grant as July 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: Approval of this Interagency Agreement will result in a total payment to the County not to exceed $1,267,454. (No Change) BACKGROUND: On June 7, 2011, the Board of Supervisors approved Interagency Agreement #29–526–1 with Contra Costa County Office of Education, for the period from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, for the provision of mental health services to special education students who are residing in local and out-of-state residential facilities and students who receive outpatient services in the schools and county-operated clinics, through Community Based Organizations that have contracts with County for professional mental health services. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this correction is not approved, the Interagency Agreement between County and Agency will be out of compliance with the California Department of Education grant.
