HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07122011 - C.34RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20953 to add one (1) Collection Enforcement Supervisor I (SMTB) (represented) position at salary level K65 1446 ($4,472-$5,436) and cancel one (1) Executive Secretary-Exempt (J3T5) position #328 in the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in a cost savings of approximately $4,160 annually. BACKGROUND: As several key staff members have retired from the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office, the staffing needs of the office have been more closely reviewed. During this review it became clear that the specialized duties of an Executive Secretary have diminished and that the addition of a Collection Enforcement Supervisor I was much more critical to the day to day operations.
