SUBJECT: RENTAL AGREEMENT - CONTRA COSTA TOP SOIL
SPECIFIC REQUESTS(S) OR RECOMMENDATION & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action: AUTHORIZE the Chairwoman of the Board of Supervisors to
EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, a month-to-month Rental Agreement commencing
July 1, 1985, with Contra Costa Top Soil for a portion of the Blum Road property,
Martinez, for use as a topsoil storage yard, under the terms and conditions more
particularly set forth in said month-to-month Rental Agreement.
II. Financial Impact: This Agreement will provide revenue to the County of $1,200
per year.
III. Reasons for Recommendations/Back round: Interim rental use of this land will
provide income to the County until development of the property in the future.
