of Offer of Dedication
(S. & H. Code Section 8335)
SUBJECT: TERMINATION OF OFFER OF DEDICATION OF Subdivision 6560 Streets
Vacation No. V1933S, W. 0. 1698, Discovery Bay Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This termination request of certain excess rights—of— way of streets not
required for street or highway purposes was made under Government Code Section
7050 and is made pursuant to Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4 of the Streets and
Highways Code, commencing with Section 8330.
The termination request is for all those streets offered for dedication
which are located in subdivision 6560, in the Discovery Bay area. A description
of the offered area ("streets" ) to be terminated is attached hereto as Exhibit
"A" and incorporated herein by reference.
This request is for portions of streets that lie within the property under
one ownership and that do not continue through such ownership or end touching
property of another. (S. & H. Code Section 8334) .
The County accepted the offer of dedication for "Recording Only" and declined
to accept the offer for maintenance purposes or to include the roadway in the
County road system;
The County does not desire to accept the roadway for maintenance purposes or
to include it in the County road system;
This Board hereby FINDS that the proposed termination will not have a
significant effect on the environment, and that it has been determined to be
categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under State
CEQA Guidelines Section 15312. The proposed termination is part of a disposal of
surplus government property not located in an area of statewide, regional or
areawide concern. The Public Works Director is ORDERED to file a Notice of
Exemption with the County Clerk. The Planning Commission having filed its
general plan report concerning this proposed termination and this Board having
considered the general plan, FINDS, pursuant to Government Code Section 65402,,that
it has received the planning agency's report.
This Board hereby TERMINATES the hereinabove-described offer of dedication
and ABANDONS the right of the County to accept said offer, subject to any

The Real Property Division is ORDERED to record a certified copy of this
Resolution in the office of the County Recorder.
From and after the date this resolution is recorded, the offer of dedication
is terminated and the County' s right to accept said offer is abandoned.

All those streets contained in the Final Map of Subdivision
6560, specifically those portions of said lands designated on
said map as Clubhouse Drive, Edgeview Drive , St. Andrews
Drive , Emerald Court, Fairway Court, Lanai Court, Hampton
Court, Gateway Court, Augusta Court, and Troon Court, as
recorded on May 10, 1985 , in Book 288 of Maps ' on Page 48,
Records of Contra Costa County.
Reserving therefrom pursuant to the provisions of Section
8340 of the Streets and Highways Code, the easement and right
at any time, or from time to time, to construct, enlarge,
maintain, operate, replace, remove, and renew those existing
and in place utilities , as of the date of recording this
instrument, in, upon, over and across any highway or part
thereof proposed to be abandoned, including access to protect
the property from all hazards in, upon, and over the area
herein before described to be abandoned.
