HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06282011 - C.88RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, to execute a contract with Tiburon, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $1,768,856 for services to upgrade the software for the Sheriff’s Office 9-1-1 Dispatch and Records Management systems, for the term June 28, 2011 until the earlier to occur of the completion of the tasks specified in the Service Plan, and December 31, 2012; and APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, to execute a contract with Tiburon, Inc., for the related software license agreement effective June 28, 2011 and to continue into perpetuity. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% County General Fund. Budgeted, Plant Acquisition 0111/4407. Livingston, Sheriff-Coroner Date:June 28, 2011 Contra Costa County Subject:Contract with Tiburon, Inc. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) with the Sheriff's Office for law enforcement services. Tiburon, Inc. provides the County with the software for the CAD system and the RMS. The software upgrade to the CAD system and the RMS will upgrade each to the newest version. The effective date of the Agreement is June 28, 2011 and shall continue in full force and effect until the earlier of the work to be performed thereunder being completed and December 31, 2012, unless sooner terminated as provided in the Agreement. The Software License fees are being paid under the software upgrade Agreement. The Software License Agreement will continue in perpetuity, unless it is breached or terminated. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
