Recommended Action APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the chairperson, Board of Supervisors, to EXECUTE on behalf of the County Amendment Number Four to the CY 1985 California/Nevada Community Action Association Direct Weatherization Program (Contract #5032) . II . Financial Impact This Amendment, if approved, will result in the receipt of approximately $661 ,000.00 in contract funds to the County. Said amount has already been incorporated into the 1985-1986 County budget. III. Rationale For Recommendation The attached contract amendment notes the following actions : A. It increases the 1985 allocation of dwellings to be weatherized from 941 to 2,263, an increase of 1 ,322 homes . B. It extends the termination date of the present contract from July 5, 1985, to January 10, 1986. All other terms and conditions of the original agreement shall remain the same. This amendment has been reviewed and approved by County Counsel as to form. No County funds are involved with this request.
