Dehaesus Contra ltra Director of Community Development Cost DATE: September 16, 1985 C ointy SUBJECT: Multi-Family Cooperative Agreement between the County and the Town of Moraga SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. RECOMMENDATION Approve Cooperative Agreement between the County and the Town of Morga pursuant to a,multi-family revenue bond financing for Moraga Royale, and authorize the Chairwoman to execute said Agreement. II. BACKGROUND Pursuant to Part 5 of Division 31 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California the County is authorized to issue revenue bonds for multi-family housing. The Town of Moraga has requested the County to work with Goldrich and Kest Associates, a development firm, to develop a multi-family financing for a prospective elderly housing complex in the Town of Moraga. The Moraga Royale development is a retirement care facility with services provided to the residents. III. FINANCIAL IMPACT The execution of this agreement will have no financial impact on the County. Should a financing be developed, it would involve the issuance of revenue bonds which would not be an obligation of the County.
