HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06282011 - C.57RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, to execute a contract with Contra Costa Community College District Police Department, including mutual indemnification, to pay the County an amount not to exceed $18,000 to provide police dispatching services for the period June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: No County Cost. $18,000 – Revenue. BACKGROUND: The Office of the Sheriff will provide police dispatching services, limited to law enforcement activity, to Los Medanos and San Ramon Valley Center campuses, for the Contra Costa Community College District Police Department. Services will include dispatching, call-taking, sending and receiving voice and data traffic, answering emergency (911) calls originating from within the specified campus facilities and warrant checks to aid the Community College District Police Department.
