DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to publish Ordinance No. 20 pursuant to Section 3 of the ordinance; and DIRECT the Auditor-Controller to levy the annual sewer service charges on the tax roll for Fiscal Year 2011/2012. FISCAL IMPACT: County services to SD-6 are funded entirely by annual sewer service charges obtained from the users of the sewer system, in accordance with the Health and Safety Code 5473. All costs will be 100% covered with revenue from SD-6. BACKGROUND: The proposed annual sewer service charges are needed to fund and maintain sewer service within Contra Costa County Sanitation District No. 6. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Without the Board of Supervisors approval, SD-6 will be unable to have the Fiscal Year 2011/2012 sewer service charges collected by the County Tax Collector, and will have to use an alternate method to collect the service charges. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
