FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: As equipment ages and technology advances many parts and components are no longer produced thereby rendering a change in status of equipment. Contra Costa Regional Medical Center has equipment that falls into this category. Based on the change in status letter (effective Dec. 31, 2010) Philips Healthcare will no longer be able to offer full service support for the BV300 Mobile Imaging unit. The proposed replacement system will provide improved image quality, reduced radiation dose and a wide range of clinical, surgical and vascular applications. This system is ideal for the OR, ER, ICU or surgical imaging.
