Subject:Amendment #26-294-27 with Staff Care, Inc.
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers.
At the time of negotiations the Payment Limit was based on target levels of utilization. Due
to higher than anticipated usage of this locum tenens registry the payment limit of this
Contract is being increased and other registry is being decreased. Approval of Contract
Amendment Agreement #26-294-27 will allow the Contractor to continue to provide
temporary physician services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa
Health Centers, through December 31, 2011.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this amendment is not approved, Contra Costa Regional Medical Center would not have
appropriate physician coverage.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
Not applicable.
