HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06212011 - C.61RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #25–043–10 with Anka Behavioral Health, Incorporated, a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to exceed $236,368, to provide operation of Multi-Service Centers for County’s Family Employment Resources and Services Together (FERST) Program, for the period from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing a variety of supportive services on a drop-in basis, including case management, food, showers, clothing, information and referrals, employment training, housing counseling, transportation and health care to homeless adults and families. Approval of Contract #25–043–10 will allow the Contractor to continue providing services through June 30, 2012. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this contract is not approved, County’s homeless population will not receive these homeless support services. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not Applicable
