HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06212011 - C.56RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #74-108-6(5) with Hiawatha Harris, M.D., Inc. (dba Pathways to Wellness Medication Clinic), a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000, to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services for the period from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Medi-Cal Funds offset 50% State and 50% Federal. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On August 11, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74-108-6(3) [as amended by Contract Amendment Agreement #74-108-6(4)] with Hiawatha Harris, M.D., Inc. (dba Pathways to Wellness Medication Clinic), to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services, for the period from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2011. Approval of Contract #74-108-6(5) will allow the Contractor to continue to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services through June 30, 2013.
