HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06212011 - C.53RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #24-939-39(13) with Kiran U. Koka, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $150,000, to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services for the period from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Medi-Cal Funds offset 50% State and 50% Federal. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: In June 2009, the Contract Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #24-939-39(10) [as amended by Contract Amendment Agreement #24-939-39(11) and #24-939-39(12)] with Kiran U. Koka, M.D., to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services, for the period from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2011. Approval of Contract #24-939-39(13) will allow the Contractor to continue to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services through June 30, 2013.
