HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06212011 - C.22RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE Appropriations and Revenue Adjustment No. 5042 to authorize new revenue in the amount of $120,760 from the Office of Homeland Security and appropriate it for services and equipment as authorized by the 2009 Homeland Security Grant. FISCAL IMPACT: This action increases revenue and appropriations by $120,760. There is no change in net County cost. BACKGROUND: The 2009 Homeland Security Grant provides the Contra Costa County Operational Area $120,760. All projects and expenditures funded by the 2009 Homeland Security Grant were selected based on an assessment of Operational Area needs by first responders within the County, including law enforcement, the fire service, and health disciplines. The Anti-Terrorism Approval Body (Approval Authority) gives approval for all expenditures funded by Homeland Security Grants.
