ACCEPT presentation from the Chair and Executive Director of the East Bay Economic
Development Alliance (East Bay EDA) to Update the Contra Costa Board of Supervisors on
East Bay EDA's current priorities and activities as well as recent accomplishments, as
recommended by Supervisor Mary Nejedly Piepho.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The East Bay Economic Development Alliance (East Bay EDA) is a public-private
partnership focused on the economic health of the East Bay (Alameda and Contra Costa
Counties). Contra Costa County and 13 Contra Costa cities join Alameda County and all 14
Alameda County cities and more than 100 East Bay companies, educational institutions,
national research labs, non-profits, special districts, and labor organizations
