ATTESTED: May 17, 2011 David Twa, BY:KATHERINE SINCLAIR , Deputy RECOMMENDATION(S): APPOINT Robert Canchola to the Member-at-Large Seat #20 on the Advisory Council on Aging, as recommended by the Employment and Human Services Director. FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: The member at large #20 seat has remained vacant for over four years. It was previously a designated seat, ‘Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)’ and filled by nominee Linda Groobin, selected by that program. Ms. Groobin subsequently left the RSVP organization in February of 2006. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) Mr. Canchola resides at , CA 94521. The term of this at large seat #20 expires on September 30, 2011. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If unfilled, this vacancy will result in the Advisory Council on Aging losing valuable community resources.
