HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05172011 - C.37RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #26-601-3 with Landrus Pfeffinger, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $125,000, to provide professional orthopedic services for patients at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, for the period from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise Fund I. Costs depend upon utilization. As appropriate, patients and/or third-party payors will be billed for services. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On June 9, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-601-2 with Landrus Pfeffinger, M.D. to provide orthopedic services for patients at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Center including clinic coverage, consultation and training, for the period from June 1, 2009 through May 31, 2011.
