Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #74–196–12 with Anka Behavioral Health,
Incorporated, a non-profit corporation, effective July 1, 2010, to amend Contract
#24–196–11, to increase the payment limit by $2,700, from $185,265 to a new payment
limit of $187,965, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2010 through June 30,
2011.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment is funded 62% by Federal Drug Medi-Cal, and 38% by State Drug
Medi-Cal. No County Funds are required. (Rate increases)
BACKGROUND:
On September 14, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74–196–11 with
Anka Behavioral Health, Incorporated, for the period from July 1, 2010 through June 30,
2011, for the provision of Medi-Cal drug abuse treatment services.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
(ADP) has since revised the rates for DMC services for fiscal year 2010 – 2011.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #74–196–12 will modify the rate schedule to
reflect ADP-authorized rates, through June 30, 2011.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this amendment is not approved, Contractor will not receive an increase to modify rate
schedule.
