HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05172011 - C.32RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #24–979–21 with Addiction Research and Treatment, Inc., dba Bay Area Addiction Research and Treatment, a corporation, effective July 1, 2010, to amend Contract #24–979–20, to increase the payment limit by $40,619, from $2,765,119 to a new payment limit of $2,805,738, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 62% by Federal Drug Medi-Cal, and 38% by State Drug Medi-Cal. No County Funds are required. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) Services) in East and West County. The California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP) has since revised the rates for DMC services for fiscal year 2010 – 2011. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #24–979–21 will modify the rate schedule to reflect ADP-authorized rates, through June 30, 2011. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, Contractor will not receive an increase to modify rate schedule. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not Applicable
