ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20919 to increase the hours of one (1)
Information Systems Assistant II (LTVH) (represented) position # 12861 from part-time
(30/40) to full-time (40/40); increase the hours of one (1) Senior Health Education
Specialist (VMWE) (represented) position #9703 from part-time (36/40) to full-time (40/40)
in the Health Services Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $25,772, including
pension costs of $5,919.64, and will be fully funded with Federal Hi-Tech Revenue.
BACKGROUND:
The Information Systems Assistant II and Senior Health Education Specialist positions are
located in the Contra Costa Health Plan. The hours of both positions need to be increased
due to the work required for the Epic Electronic Medical Records implementation project.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this action is not approved, the Department will not have adequate resources to devote to
