Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent on behalf of the Health Services Department,
to execute, a Purchase Order with Aspect Software in an amount not to exceed $132,808.51 ,
for purchase of Aspect Telephone System Support and Maintenance for CCRMC and
Health Services for the period of June 1, 2011 thru May 31, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND:
Renewal of the Aspect Call Center Phone System Maintenance. Aspect provides mission
critical 24 x 7 support, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) appointment reminders and
interfaces with our (eMPI) Electronic Medical Patient Index database which is heavily used
by Health Services and Patient Care Departments. Reference Aspect contract
#USSPT-0002230.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this Purchase Order is not approved patient care would be affected due to an increase in
