HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05102011 - C.29RECOMMENDATION(S): Appoint the following individual as the Alternate Member to the Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority (Tri-Delta Transit) Board, for a term to expire on December 31, 2012, as requested by Supervisor Glover: Mary Piepho Brentwood, California 94513 FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority (Tri-Delta Transit) was formed in 1977 as a Joint Powers Agency (JPA) consisting of the cities of Antioch, Brentwood, Pittsburg and the county of Contra Costa. Oakley incorporated as a city and joined in 1999. Supervisor Glover has selected Mary Piepho as the alternate member to the Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority based of her knowledge of the transportation issues facing East County. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The seat will be unfilled. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: None.
