HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05032011 - C.82RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74–393–1 with Ryan F. Estevez, MD a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $168,750, to provide professional psychiatric services for older adults, for the period from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Services Act. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: For a number of years the County has contracted with Medical, Dental and Mental Health Specialists to provide specialized professional services, which are not otherwise available in its Hospital and Health Centers. On April 13, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74–393 with Ryan F. Estevez, MD, for the period from April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011, for the provision of professional psychiatric services for older adults.
