HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05032011 - C.54RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20925 to cancel one vacant Office Manager (JJHC) position #10420 at salary level ZAX 1369 ($4,133.54 - $5,278.21) and add one Clerk Specialist (JWXD) position at salary level 3RX 1156 ($3,347.58 - $4,274.99) in the Department of Agriculture. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval of this action, the cancellation of the one Office Manager position and the addition of one Clerical Specialist will result in salary cost savings. BACKGROUND: Previously, an Office Manager position supervised three full time clerks in the division of Cooperative Extension. Due to budget cuts, staffing levels have been reduced and now there is one full time clerk and a part time temporary clerk. The department has determined that the current staffing and operational needs does not require an Office Manager position and that a Clerk Specialist can manage the day-to-day operations.
