SUBJECT: Revenue Bonds for Multi-Family Projects
The Board received a memorandum from Anthony A. Dehaesus ,
Director of Planning, advising that , as amended by the 1982 Tax Equity
and Fiscal Responsibility Act (TEFRA ) , the Internal Revenue Code
requires that a public hearing be held prior to the issuance of
revenue bonds for multi-family housing. Mr . Dehaesus informed the
Board that it was desirable to hold the required TEFRA hearing on
the projects attached hereto as Exhibit A in order to have a group
of developments which could potentially act as substitutes for pro-
jects in the County' s 1985 Multi-family Bond Program - Issue A , or
be included in future issues .
As recommended by Mr . Dehaesus , IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED
that the aforesaid public hearing is OPENED .
There being no one wishing to comment on the projects , IT
IS FURTHER ORDERED that the public hearing is CLOSED .
