HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04122011 - C.50RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract with Superior Court of California, Contra Costa including modified indemnification language, in an amount not to exceed $5,140, to provide services for the arrest policies and enforcement of protection orders project, for the period September 1, 2010 through April 30, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: $5,140: 100% Federal Department of Justice Grant, CFDA# 16.590. No County funds. BACKGROUND: The Department of Justice Grant is to encourage arrest policies and enforcement of protection orders at the State and local courts (including juvenile courts), to treat domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking as serious violations of criminal law. The Superior court requires mutual indemnificaiton clause be added to all contracts.
