Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23–325–11 with Wilson Consulting, Inc.,
a corporation, effective March 1, 2011, to amend Contract #23–325–10, to increase the
payment limit by $100,000, from $80,000 to a new payment limit of $180,000, with no
change in the original term of January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
In January 2011, the County Administrator approved, and the Purchasing Services Manager
executed Contract #23–325–10 with Wilson Consulting, Inc. for the period from January 1,
2011 through December 31, 2011, for the provision of technical support services for
County’s Patient Accounting System, including custom reporting for the Keane system,
technical support for the “HL7” interface, and assistance with regard to implementing the

provide additional hours of services, through December 31, 2011.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this amendment is not approved, the Department will not have access to Contractor’s
expertise with regard to County’s Keane® computer system, while the Contra Costa
Regional Medical Center and Health Centers is transitioning to the Epic® computer system.
