Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#26-517-2 with R. Mason Coleman, M.D., Inc., a professional corporation, in an amount not to exceed $675,000, to
provide radiology services for patients at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers,
for the period from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On May 6, 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-517-1 with R. Mason Coleman, M.D., Inc.
to provide ancillary radiology physician services for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health
Center, including, but not limited to, consultation, on-call coverage, and clinic coverage, for the period from April 1,
2008 through March 31, 2011.
Approval of Contract #26-517-2 will allow the Contractor to continue providing radiology services at
