APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Risk Manager to execute a Contract Amendment Agreement with Environmental
and Occupational Risk Management (EORM), effective October 1, 2010, to increase the total payment limit by
$12,680 to a new total payment limit of $498,545, to provide First Aid/CPR/AED Training for the Probation
Department during the term of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The increased costs of $12,680 will be funded by the Probation Department.
BACKGROUND:
EORM assists is dealing with Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) compliance inspections and
responses on behalf of our departments. Probation Officers would like to utilize EORM's training to be in compliance
with their CPR-First Aid requirements.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this amendment is not approved, County will not pay for training that was given to probation officers to ensure they
meet all Cal-OSHA regulatory requirements.
