HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 02061990 - 90/77IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter Commending ) Cameron Watson for His ) Resolution No. 90/7 7 Heroic Deed WHEREAS, Cameron Watson, a student in the Richmond High School Severely Handicapped Program, was witness to an incident in his neighborhood which endangered the life of an infant; and WHEREAS, Cameron surveyed the situation and took the appropriate action to rescue the child and called for emergency assistance; and WHEREAS, Cameron's actions are credited with saving the life of the child; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County that Cameron Watson be highly commended for his heroic deed of placing the well being of another over his own safety; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County applauds Cameron Watson's bravery and presence of mind which resulted in the life of an innocent child being spared, and considers Cameron Watson one of the County's most courageous citizens. I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on February 6, 1990.
