HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03222011 - C.38RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Conservation & Development Director, or designee, to extend the term of Contract C45350 with Environmental Science Associates to December 31, 2011, with no increase in the payment limit. FISCAL IMPACT: None. The costs associated with this contract are recovered through collection of fees paid by the project applicant. BACKGROUND: In March 2010 the Department of Conservation & Development contracted with Environmental Science Associates to prepare an environmental impact report (EIR) for the Vasco Winds Repowering Project located in the Byron area. Preparation of the EIR has taken longer than anticipated and the contract is set to expire on March 23, 2011. DCD seeks to extend the contract to December 31, 2011, to allow adequate time to complete the EIR and ensure that another extension will not be necessary.
