HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03222011 - C.35RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order with R-Computer, in an amount not to exceed $350,000 for the purchase of minor computer hardware and Hewlett Packard printers, parts and printer maintenance, for the period from April 15, 2011 through April 14, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: Health Services Information Technology is responsible for supporting approximately 4700 computers, printers, and related hardware devices within Contra Costa County including all hospitals, clinics, Finance and Administration buildings. This is a blanket Purchase Order for minor hardware and Hewlett Packard printers, parts, and printer maintenance as needed. Pricing structure falls under Hewlett Packard WSCA Contract # B27164-CA valid thru 8/31/2014. Quoted prices falls under Contra Costa County Purchasing Bid # 0907-004.
