HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03222011 - C.25RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #29–771–14 with Partnership Health Plan of California, a government agency, effective February 28, 2011, to amend Contract #29-771-11 (as amended by Contract Amendment Agreements #29–771–12 and #29–771–13) to increase the amount paid to County by $33,075, from $396,300, to a new payment limit of $429,375, and extend the term from February 28, 2011 through May 31, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: Agency will pay County a minimum amount of $429,375 for provision by the Contra Costa Health Plan of Advice Nurse Services. The revenue generated by this Contract will be used to offset the cost of Contra Costa Health Plan’s advice nurse service. Partnership Health Plan of California is the entity which oversees Solano County’s Medi-Cal Managed Care Program. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #29–771–14 will allow County to continue providing services through May 31, 2011, including continuing mutual indemnification of both parties. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, Agency will not pay County for Advise Nurse services during the period that Agency is soliciting bids for providers of Advice Nurse Services.
