The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This summary vacation of a public service easement no longer required for slope protection
purposes, is made pursuant to Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4 of the Streets and Highways Code,
commencing with Section 8333.-
This vacation request is for a slope easement located in the Pleasant Hill BARTD
Redevelopment area. A description of the area to be vacated is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein by reference.
This vacation request is for an easement which has been superseded by relocation and
there are no other public facilities located within the easement (S. & H. Code § 8333).
This activity is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section
15061 (b) (3) of Chapter 3 of the CEQA Guidelines as it can be seen with certainty that there is no
possibility that the activity may have a significant effect on the environment.
This Board declares that the hereinabove described proposed vacation area is HEREBY
ORDERED VACATED subject to any reservation and exception described in attached Exhibit "A".
From and after the date this Resolution is recorded, the portion vacated no longer constitutes a
public service easement.
The Real Property Division is ORDERED to record a certified copy of this Resolution in the
office of the County Recorder.

A slope easement as described in the deed granted by Mark A. King, Jr., et ux., to
the State of California recorded February 4, 1955, in Book 2470 of Official Records at
page 204, being that slope easement described in the "Relinquishment of State
Highway in the County of Contra Costa, Road IV-C.0-75-B, E" recorded July 8, 1958
in Book 3189 of Official Records at page 314, Contra Costa County, California.1

A slope easement described in the "Relinquishment of Highway Right of Way in the
County of Contra Costa, Road 4-cc-680-15.6/17.4 Request No. 40384" recorded
November 14, 1985, in Book 12614 of Official Records at page 525, Contra Costa
County, California, being that slope easement located at the northeasterly corner of
this intersection of Treat Boulevard and Buskirk Avenue in Segment 3 as shown on
sheet 3 of 6 on that certain set of maps of 6 sheets entitled "Relinquishment in the
County of Contra Costa" filed September 24, 1985, in State Highway Map Book No.
8, pages 25 through 30, inclusive, in the Office of the Recorder of Contra Costa
County.
