SUBJECT: Abatement of substandard structures and debris at 2292 Tice Valley
Boulevard, Henry Sunders, Owner
The Board this day having held a public hearing on the proposed abatement
of substandard structures and debris at 2292 Tice Valley Boulevard, Walnut Creek
area, (Henry Sunders, Owner) and the following persons have appeared and commented.
following the presentation of Bill Martindale from the Building Inspection Department:

Meadow Lane Association
The Chair read a message submitted by Barbara Collinson, 2318 Tice Valley
Boulevard, Walnut Creek, who did not wish to speak, but who urged the supervisors
to exert their power to enforce conformance with the county ordiances.
The Board considerd the testimony given by the Building Inspection Department
the owner and tenant, and the neighbors who gave testimony with respect to the condition
of the property and the dogs domiciled there who run the neighborhod, and thereupon
adopted Resolution 85/38 granting jurisdiction to the Building Inspection Department
and directing that the Animal Control Department be alerted to the alledged problems
of packs of dogs from this property running loose in the neighborhood.

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County Resolves
That:
It appears from evidence by the County Building Inspector
the above subject property has an accumulation of debris and
substandard uninhabitable structure's that constitutes a hazard
to; and endangers the health,safety,and welfare of the public.
The structures are hereby declared substandard and a public
nuisance.
The following structures are to be removed from the site.
1. Dilapidated substandard structure (travel trailer) .
2 . Rabbit hutches and dog pens, closer than 610" from
property line.
3 . All structures that were not constructed under permit.
The following items are to be removed from the site.
1. All concrete; trash;garbage, inoperable vehicles,junk,
debris and leave the site in a clean condition.
The Building Inspection Department is granted authority `to
contract for the clearing of the property if in 30 days from the
date of this order the owner has not cleared the site of said
structures and debris . A lien shall be placed against the
subject property for the cost of this abatement, as well as all
other costs incurred by Contra Costa County.
The Building Inspection Department is directed to post and
mail notices of this Resolution directing abatement of a nusiance
in the manner required by law and for the period required prior
to any actual abatement.
The Building Inspection Department is directed to alert the
Animal Control Department regarding the -alledged problem of packs
of dogs trom this property running loose in the neighborhood.
