HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03152011 - C.72RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Patricia Tanquary) to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #27-154-10 with Alhambra Valley Counseling Associates, a partnership, in an amount not to exceed $400,000, to provide professional outpatient psychotherapy services for the Contra Costa Health Plan for the period from March 1, 2011 through February 28, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan (Health Plan) member premiums. Costs depend upon utilization. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: The Health Plan has an obligation to provide certain specialized professional health care services for its members under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County. On March 17, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #27-154-9 with Alhambra Valley Counseling Associates, a partnership for the period from March 1, 2009 through February 28, 2011, to provide outpatient psychotherapy services.
