REAPPOINT the following individual to the District IV seat on the Fish and Wildlife
Committee to a two year term from February 28, 2011 to February 28, 2013, as
recommended by Supervisor Mitchoff:

None.
BACKGROUND:
The Fish and Wildlife Committee advise the Board of Supervisors on fish and wildlife
issues in Contra Costa County. The Committee makes recommendations to the Board of
Supervisors for the expenditure of funds from the Fish and Wildlife Propagation Fund
pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 13103. The Committee also addresses issues
surrounding the enforcement of fish and game laws and regulations in the County as well as
consider other issues which may from time to time be referred to the Committee by the
Board of Supervisors.

The committee consists
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
of ten members. One appointed by each Supervisor, four appointed by the Internal
Operations Committee, and one alternate. Members serve a two year term ending February
28.
Mr. Weisenbach has been an excellent representative on the Fish and Wildlife Committee
and Supervisor Mitchoff would like to appoint him to an additional term.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Mr. Weisenbach's current term would expire and the District IV seat would become vacant.
