APPROVE payment in the amount of $32,229 for the period of January 1, 2011 through March 31, 2011 and $10,743 per month for each month beginning April 1, 2011 until the close of escrow or possession of property by County, as outlined in Rental Agreement, payable by Contra Costa County Transportation Authority to AHDC, Attn: Anne Toyloy, 3128 Willow Avenue, Ste. 101, Clovis, CA 93612. DIRECT the Real Property Division to have the above referenced Amendment to Right of Way Contract and Rental Agreement delivered to the Owner. DIRECT the Real Property Division to have the above referenced payment delivered to the Owner. FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact. Project No.: 4660-6X4168 BACKGROUND: This property is being acquired for the State Route 4 (E) Widening - Somersville Road to Route 160 Project in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. The County agreed to enter into a rental agreement to keep the already vacant units vacant to minimize relocation costs that may mature for future occupants should post acquisition occupancy be allowed. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Owner can rent the vacant units to new occupants which could result in further relocation benefits being required and the building not being available to construct the project on schedule. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
