HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01182011 - C.61RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the Sheriff-Coroner, a purchase change order with Clean Source to extend the termination date from January 31, 2011 to January 31, 2012 and increase the payment limit by $200,000 to a new payment limit of $905,000 for miscellaneous janitorial supplies as needed within the County's detention facilities. FISCAL IMPACT: $200,000. 100% General Fund; Budgeted BACKGROUND: Clean Source provides custodial products, items and supplies as needed for the County detention facilities. They also repair and service janitorial equipment that is proprietary to the detention facilities. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The Sheriff's Office may not have access to this vendor in times when they have the most best pricing on janitorial supplies. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: No impact.
