Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Wendel Brunner, MD), to execute, on behalf of
the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #22–611–27 with New Connections, a non-profit corporation, effective
December 1, 2010, to amend Contract #22–611–25, (as amended by Contract Amendment Agreement #22-611-26)
to increase the payment limit by $10,000, from $308,000 to a new payment limit of $318,000, with no change in the
original term of March 1, 2010 through February 28, 2011.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is 100% Federally-funded, by the State, through the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Modernization
Act of 2006, through an inter-governmental agreement with Alameda County, who is the Grantee of these funds. No
County funds are required.
BACKGROUND:
On March 2, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #22–611–25 (as amended by Contract Amendment
Agreement #22-611-26) with New Connections for the period from March 1, 2010 through February 28, 2011, for
the provision of services to County residents with HIV disease.
