Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment Agreement #74-390-2 with Elan Medical Corporation, a corporation, effective August 1, 2010, to
amend Contract #74-390-1, to increase the payment limit by $2,500, from $245,000 to a new payment limit of
$247,500 with change in the original term of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% by Mental Health Realignment Funds. This Amendment includes an amount not to exceed $2,500 for expenses
from attending conferences on behalf of the County. No change in hourly rate.
BACKGROUND:
On June 22, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74-390-1 with Elan Medical Corporation, for the
period from July 1 2010 through June 30, 2011, for the provision of professional psychiatric services for mentally ill
patients in Central Contra Costa County.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #74-390-2 will allow the Contractor to provide additional level
