Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#76-515-3 with Larkin Breed, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $375,000, to provide
professional radiology services for patients at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health
Centers, for the period from January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2013.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. No rate increase.
BACKGROUND:
On January 8, 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #76-515-2 with Larkin Breed, M.D., for the period
from January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2010, for the provision of radiology services including consultation,
on-call coverage and interpretation of CT Scans, MRIs, Ultrasounds, invasive procedures and plain films for Contra
Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers.
Approval of Contract #76-515-3 will allow the Contractor to continue providing
