Subject:APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to renew a contract for an additional
year with A.S. Dutchover & Associates
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

selected two firms based on their unique qualifications. A.S. Dutchover & Associates was
one of the firms selected. Construction staff requires a landscape architectural firm to
ensure that the landscape areas it manages are designed, constructed and maintained in
accordance with the Public Works Department’s Landscape Standards. The contract is
being extended through March 31, 2012 in order to accommodate work in progress
intended for this vendor.
