HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12142010 - C.36RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20860 to add one Secretary - Journey level position (J3TF) (represented) at salary level 3R2 1018 ($3016.18 - $4157.83) and reduce the hours of Advice Nurse (VWSK) (represented) vacant position #13425 from 24/40 to 2/40. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this will result in an annual savings of approximately $1,907. BACKGROUND: The new Secretary position is needed to provide administrative support to the Advice Nurse Unit of the Contra Costa Health Plan. Duties of the position will include: preparing correspondence for manager’s signature; assisting in the preparation of reports, recommendations, and other written material by researching information, compiling and organizing content; attending meetings and taking minutes; and maintaining the Advice Nurse Manager’s appointment calendar and scheduling meetings. The hours of the Advice Nurse position are being reduced to offset the cost of the new Secretary position.
