Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution #20846 to revise and retitle the classification of
Health Plan Quality Management Program Manager (VRHA) (represented) to Quality
Management Program Coordinator (VRHA) (represented) position at salary level ZA5 1961
($7447 - $9052) and add one full-time position in Health Services Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an approximate annual cost of $169,624 and will be
fully funded by Mental Health Services Act money.
BACKGROUND:
The Health Services Department is requesting that the Health Plan Quality Management
Program Manager classification be retitled and revised to include an assignment in the
Mental Health Division and that one permanent full-time position be added in the Mental
Health division. The position is needed to oversee the quality management program to meet
the organizational needs as well as the requirements of mental health consumers and
regulatory agencies. The incumbent will work with the Deputy Director of Mental Health
and other clinical and administrative staff to ensure that the program effectively measures,
